Everytime I open any Office application it goes to ” please wait while windows configures microsoft office And when I open Excel it gives me an error message of ” One of your object libraries I is missing or damaged. Please run Setup to install it” – it does it everytime even after I re-install the Office I just checked my Microsoft Office Professionalit say it’s activated but it’s 32 bit.

I have tried Registry adjustments, Fixits as suggested by Microfarce, repaired, reinstalled the program and many more ideas as posted on numerous forums but still no joy. Why haven’t you fixed this Microsoft? How do I get my money back? Ran it again after reinstalling Office, still no joy. That is when I clicked the link to contact the support team to find I would be charged for the honour. In reply to N1ckJ’s post on May 8, In reply to Aravinda Balakrishna’s post on May 9, I had to change the program permissions to do this but the same result unfortunately, Office still attempts to go through the configuration process.

The applications themselves run in the background just fine, but then Office takes over and prevents me from using them until the configuration process has finished.

In reply to N1ckJ’s post on May 9, In reply to Aravinda Balakrishna’s post on May 10, Ok here is what I did. I followed the link and tried to create a test account using the mmc application but this wasn’t possible using widows 7 mmc app wouldn’t let it load the snap-in.

I went to control panel and ceated a new user with administrator privileges using the create new account facility. I logged of my account and ran the test account. All the applications loaded and started without going through the configuration process. I logged off the test account and ran my normal one again applications ran without the configuration process running again.

I restarted the computer as this normally initiated a re-run of the config program when i try to start them but amazingly NO. So current state is fixed but with a test account created. I am more than happy to put up with this as long as the issue remains fixed. How long will this last. Is there a way of fixing my account to replicate whatever the test account has or doesn’t have? No joy. The refund policy in the link you provided has absolutely no bearing on consumer rights in the UK. This is my right as a consumer and very resonable as you clearly cannot fix this issue.
